Elderly lady in Hereford would like a hand getting out and about
Is this the role for you?
We believe our client would benefit from someone who is calm, patient, who enjoys going out and about and who would enjoy helping our client keep doing the activities she enjoys. You will be expected to assist with basic personal support like washing and bathing.
Ranging from £639.80 to £816.48 a week (pay rates as of 1 April 2020).
A bit about our client
We are looking for a live-in carer for an active lady in her nineties, who lives in Hereford and would like some support to maintain her active lifestyle.
Our client loves to visit friends and family and go out for a walk or a trip into town. She enjoys going to her regular hair appointment on Fridays, and she has a taste for traditional home cooked food. Nothing beats a good roast dinner!
Having been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, our client can sometimes get confused and anxious. We are looking for someone who is calm and understanding and able to reassure her, and who can help her get out and about so that she can keep doing the things that she enjoys.
As her live-in carer, you will be able to make a big difference to our client’s day, by ensuring she can stay socially active, visit family and friends, and generally stay as active as possible.
